Repairs
Queen’s Gold Body Jewelry only repairs Queen’s Gold pieces.
If the account manager and Queen’s Gold jewelers determine that a piece sent in for repair was not made by Queen’s Gold, then it will be returned to the client or scrapped.
If it is determined that a piece is eligible for repair, then it will be placed into one or more of the following categories.
Categories:
Defective Merchandise
These pieces will be replaced with no cost to the client and Queen’s Gold will cover round trip shipping. Qualifying items are defined as those that break during installation due to an error in Queen’s Gold manufacturing. Specifically and most commonly; broken pins, stones that fall out, and broken hinges.
Quality Unmet
These pieces will be replaced with no cost to the client and Queen’s Gold will cover round trip shipping. Specific items that fall in this category include; insufficient polish, hard seam rings, loose stones, crooked stones, and incorrect size due to an unmet manufacturing standard.
Merchandise damaged after delivery
These pieces will be evaluated upon receipt by Queen’s Gold. Items determined to be beyond repair will be scrapped and a scrap credit will be given to the client based on the value of the metal and the value of the piece. This credit can be applied to a new product order. If it is determined that the piece qualifies for repair, then Queen’s Gold will charge the lowest repair cost possible based on the time needed for the jeweler to complete the repair. Items will be evaluated, quote provided, round trip shipping paid by client.
Damaged seam rings
These pieces will be scrapped and a scrap credit based on metal cost will be given to the client. This credit can be applied to the next qualifying new order, but not to a repair order.
Items sent in for repair must be sent in their original packaging.
